Hope for Living is a project that will raise £45,000 to send 45 UK based families affected by a brain tumour to CenterParcs holiday village in March 2011.
The families will have an amazing time with guest celebrities dropping in to say hello, they will stay in a Woodland Lodge with all food, many activities and spending money included.
Many patients attending have a terminal diagnosis and this might be the final holiday for the family.
In order to make this possible we are pleased to be working with Andrea's Gift, Brain Tumour Research and CenterParcs, to whom we are grateful for this wonderful opportunity.
Yorkshire based Andrea's Gift provides patient and carer support together with funding vital research into novel brain tumour projects. It is just one of 14 UK charities that came together to form Brain Tumour Research in 2009. These member charities provide a lifeline for patients and carers when they receive a brain tumour diagnosis, which is in many cases terminal. Brain Tumour Research campaigns for improved treatment, increased funding and ultimately an extended prognosis for the patients each charity works with.
At present the prognosis for brain tumour patients is often poor, collectively Brain Tumour Research is determined to change this for the future.
Please feel free to contact hope for living and we will be more than happy to talk to you about this wonderful project.
